OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the process by which adults learn about and are initiated into the Catholic Church.

At St. Isidore’s, we cover topics including the existence of God, Church history, Mary and the Saints, and salvation. The 24 week curriculum will give you a foundational understanding of the Catholic faith so as to prepare you to receive the sacraments.

The OCIA class meets once a week for an eight-month period throughout the school year. Class this year will begin the week of August 31. You can attend class Monday nights at 6:30 pm or Thursdays at 4 pm, both in Newman Hall at St. Isidore’s. Classes are typically one and a half hours long and run on the same schedule as K-State.
