St. Paul said: “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church” (Eph 5:25). The sacrament of Matrimony celebrates and witnesses the covenant of love between two people, and it signifies the union of Christ and the Church.
Engaged couples must begin the marriage preparation process at least six months prior to the intended date of the wedding. During this time, the couple is able to complete the necessary paperwork and fulfill all marriage preparation requirements.
